Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant’s primary responsibility is to perform administrative and office support activities for Accounting, Customer Service, and Sales.

Job Summary: Burst Management is looking for an emerging to intermediate level sales professional with expertise selling within a business-to-business distribution model; ideally in the spirits/beverage and food industry. You will be responsible for selling lines into grocery chains within the natural and mass-market arena.

Job Duties May Include:

  • Prospecting: Consistently find new opportunities and new customers. Call on accounts with distributors and on targeted accounts directly.
  • Set appointments for manufactures or brokers to attend in a timely fashion.
  • Distributor Management: Develop and implement relationships with a sales rep in the distributor channel and be able to motivate distributor’s sales forces.
  • Qualification & Strategy: Ensure manufacturers are a good fit for a particular grocery chain.
  • Presenting: Effectively present your client’s product to buyers via email and phone calls as required to win the sale with a focus on selling value.
  • Close sales with enough volume to meet annual business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the food/beverage space or similar B2B sales where working with a distributor was involved.
  • Experience in attending trade shows and networking with high profile accounts.
  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Applications, including excel, powerpoint, and word.
  • Experience with using and maintaining a CRM database.

  • Knowledge in health food segment, protein bars, and natural foods, clean eating items.
  • Quality phone voice, pleasant always, upbeat, positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently, accomplish goals and problem solve.
  • Excellent communication to stay connected with a remote team on a daily basis.
